Dr. Brumfield has been practicing as a board certified radiologist in the Seattle area since 2010.  In 2013, she was featured as one of the top vets by the Seattle Met Magazine.

A native of Northern California, she decided she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was 10 years old.  She started volunteering at a small animal veterinary practice in high school and worked in private practice during her undergraduate and veterinary coursework.

Dr. Brumfield obtained a bachelors degree in Nutrition Science from the University of California at Davis, then went on to receive her DVM from the University of California at Davis. After completing an internship in private practice in Northern California, she did her residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Brumfield enjoys problem-solving and achieving a diagnosis that can help animals and their owners, which makes diagnostic imaging a perfect fit for her.
During her free time, Dr. Brumfield enjoys cooking, hiking, mountain biking, wakeboarding and snowboarding.  She loves taking advantage of the variety of restaurants and music venues in Seattle.  Her favorite activity is spending time with her son, daughter and dog Rosie.
